Many large retailers like Macy’s or Wal-Mart use direct mail marketing to reach their customers. They usually send out sales flyers that highlight what will be on sale in their store that week, and they also send them out for special sales that they may have going on. If you own a small business, you may not think using the mail is the way to go, but this type of marketing can be very effective in your community.
