To write a comprehensive treatment on conversational hypnosis would make a long book. Rintu says in his book that the main aim was to find easy to use patterns that you can learn very fast. To this end the book is more practical than comprehensive.

Rintu specialises in applying Hypnotic persuasion skills for business and social use. He has been training in commercial industry for twelve years and specialising in NLP for nine.

My value from the book came because I could take what I had just read and apply it within minutes of reading it. The Persuasion Skills Black Book is structured in such a way that you learn some quick, basic but powerful patterns early on. These are then built on to create more complex and powerful patterns as you go.

The Persuasion Skills Black Book takes a completely hands on approach to learning to use language patterns. It starts from some simple patterns and logically guides you through to more powerful and complex patterns. It is packed full of examples, illustrations and practical tips on using every patterns and is laid out in a simple coherent way.

The first pattern took a little while for me to get used to. I felt that I would get caught out and that it was a little strange to say. Taking the advice from the book I spent a few minutes saying the pattern out loud before using it on someone else. The results were spectacular and very soon I found myself using the pattern without thinking about it. Very quickly I was developing new and complex language patterns of my own.

There is a lot of interest in hypnotic language patterns claims Rintu in his book. He goes on to state that this has lead to a wealth of complex and confusing information on the internet and in books. Having seen some of the websites and read some of the books I have to say that I agree with him.

One thing that would make the book even better would be if Rintu had given more examples of using hypnotic persuasion patterns in written form. That said he has one very comprehensive example and sites different places where you can go to see more.

If you want specific hypnotic language patterns that are immediately ready for use then this is the right book for you. What this book won’t give you is in depth theory or complex analysis of hypnotic patterns and words.

If you have any situations in your life where persuasion skills are important then this book is an absolute must read. This would include sales people looking to increase their conversions, singles looking for more dates, parents looking to manage their children, managers motivating staff, trainers and teachers wanting to develop their students.

A companion book filled with even more examples, applications and illustrations of these patterns would be a great addition. Hopefully Rintu has seen the opportunity and will be releasing this book soon.
